Re: TZR500 Race bike

No,,, in this case it doesn't suggest the piston is to tight? If the piston was to tight you would see "many" piston marks up and down the piston. If you look carefully at the piston marks and then try to match them with the cylinder marks you can see they dont look the same. Good chart to...

Re: TZR500 Race bike

Don't think i would worry to much about the clearance problem that you think you have there. You got plenty of clearance on the blades. If the piston was to tight on clearance , you will see what we call stick marks on the four corners of the piston. What,,, piston is round right? Yep, what we refer...

Re: Carbon Fiber Wheels Question

Hello Pete, Thank You. Anything is possible for pipes. Don't really like doing them for "stock" RZ 500, cause as most know the top pipes must be around 100 to 105mm dia to fit in the bodywork and that's not so good for power? Will do them all day long if there is a "mod" subframe...

Re: At Kenny´s Ranch

Wolfgang, i just figured out from your picture why that 3 cylinder motor never did run that good :smt017 ? We must have being using the wrong pistons in it. When Bud said "powervalves",,,, I said,,, :smt011 we used pistons that the "Valves" won't hit :smt009 Post more pictures is...

Hi, could you please post some pictures of your, 110mm and 115mm dia pipes so that people can see how they fit up under the seat. Is that using "Stock Yamaha seat and side panels" ? Are the pipe burning into the side panels? As many RZ500 people know there's not much room under that seat f...
