thanks jeff i will check that out,just been so busy at work at the moment i havnt even had time to go in the workshop for 5mins,and having a new baby with us now finding time is hard,im of work thursday so all day in the garage..

thanks mollydee, im going to set up and try and do a leak down preasure test,and have the carbs apart again..and check the coolant flow..any ideas on what to blank of the exhaust ports with..?and would i need to check each cylinder indervigerly..?and i guess i have to drain all the oil out aswell..?...

thanks jeff that coolant mod seems interesting,but id need to read all the threads bfore i start drilling holes eveywere :shock: :smile: if u look at the 3rd pic down u can see the different colours on top of the pistons,why are they so different is that cos of the carbs setup...?wrong jets or somet...

also iam running mitaka pistons (jap ones not taiwan) i hope the fella that done the rebore would no about clearances surely... gonna look at that link gary on preasure check and see...!

the seat unit is a yzr500 from airtech, the fairing fits ok but on a original rd im not sure cos of the oil bottle and coolant,and not sure about the clocks either it would be tight...!yes its a daytime mot only too..hope that helps.and thanks for the comments alan

hi all.the pipes are s/s lomas the finish is factory apart from a good old pollish,front and rear end is gxsr k4,the fareing and tank is fzr600r so i was told its not the best looking but it will do for awhile,stock engine just running the beast in.. but soon it will be
