Re: New Project

Yes, all the best to you in your healing John. The foot and big toe is looking good... This Arthritis can be very painful and damaging. These days the medical profession can do so much more then they did many years ago... Soon this foot will be ready to ride and wear a normal shoe/boot, kick the cat...

Re: RZ500 Buyers pack

When I bought my first new RZ500 back in 1985 at Racers Edge in Milton Ontario the only optional stuff for the RZ was the Solo Seat Option, factory manual, no clothing, no key chains, no extras of any sort that I know of... At that time, one had to put money down on these bikes prior to them arrivin...

Looks great. Very nice shop.
Yeah, the way our winter has gone, it's pretty much time to get the old bikes ready again...

Re: Trumpland

I agree with you somewhat Questo. Myself, personally think he will be good for America, he mentioned much earlier that would only run for president if the USA was in dire straights, which it is. Change can be a good thing, to throw in a non'regular can sometimes be the best couse of action. I don't ...

Re: New Project

That is so true, nothing like being flat out on a fast bike... Reminds me of the first time I had opened up my 85 RZ500 after break in back when I was like 26-27yrs old, gave me the holy sh_t, wow I love this factor... I got that feeling as well when I raced open class motocross on the first liquid ...

Re: New Project

Well that suck's John, but that seems to be the way things work these days, one step forward and then two steps back, no pun intended... Yeah, glad to hear that your remaining optimistic, I'm sure this is kind of the norm and will all work out in the end... The hard part would be the sitting around ...

Re: New Project

John, That's looking pretty good considering the cut doesn't get much air and is covered in cast... Yeah I'm sure it will be painful around the incision area and will be until the skin mends and then some physio for the foot... Last thing you want now is any type of infection...

Re: New Project

Looks Great, will be a nice shop when done.
I'm interested in the LED lights you want to use and the amount of light they put out?
In the near future I'll need to replace my older 8' industrial fluorescents.

Re: New Project

Wow John, that's not slow progress??? I'm much like you, when I get going on a project it gets done no matter what or somehow, digging deep inside... I do end up paying the price for it later on... In pain... In saying that it's nice to get the task done and the real sense of accomplishment. I'll sa...

Re: New Project

Hi John. Yeah, that is a bit of short notice, but that seems to be the way it is these days. Something else always comes up or is more important than the project your working on... Example: I've learned in my 58yrs never marry a girl with a large/huge family... There are birthdays, family outings or...

Re: New Project

Hi John, I'm so sorry to hear all that. Yes, I think it's best to hire an electrician as that work would be pretty strenuous and not much fun... Yeah, we in life need to exist with what life throws at us, being positive and doing the things we love is good for us. I'm glad that you're not on pain me...

Re: New Project

Russ you are correct, it's NMWU not greatest cable for permanent installs. John, that works as well, we use to use a 1/8 poly line and just a bit of a plastic bag tied to it and then suck it through with the shop vac. Larger conduits 4" we'd use the hole plastic bag, had to be careful with them...
