OEM Steering Damper for the RD500
Hi All,
I picked up what is claimed to be a genuine Yamaha Steering Damper Bracket and brackets supposedly for the RD500. Haven't had a close look at it yet but has anyone come across this and familiar with how it fits. Be grateful for any tips, advice, info etc.
Regards

Re: Blowing Fuse
Hi Guys, Thanks for the info. I’ve seen a few posts suggesting it is the Thermo Seitch which they are saying can develop a short, whilst phildu31 you reckon it’s the fan. Haven’t had a chance to wire the fan up direct but just wondering how confident you are it’s the fan, could it be either? Or has ...

Re: Blowing Fuse
Thanks guys, read another thread as well where it suggested ithe Thermo switch was the most likely cause of the problem. Are these known to fail? Is there a replacement available Ivor are they the same as any other bikes e.g. the RZ/RD 350???

Re: Was Crank timing now Engine Rebuild Progress

Had all the two stroke empty out on the floor as well, completely down to me, messy but sorted now, so it's back to list of outsta...

Re: Was Crank timing now Engine Rebuild Progress
Hi Steve,
That would be great thanks. Obviously bike had been running without it before the tear down. Clutch seemed to work fine though so I was wondering if it was omitted on purpose for some reason, would that be possible or did someone just get it wrong????
