Love it!!

Excellent job!! I feel the same as everyone else and would love to build one up as well. Yamaha should be building up something along the same lines (we would all want one). The bike looks almost perfect, Gold wheels and a black strip down the tank and rear seat cover would finish it for me!! Sorry ...

I had some issues fitting mine as well but fitted some rubber snubbers to sit pipes on (screwed them into the unused mounting holes on the frame) and some spacers on the hanger brackets.

JL pipes

Hi I fitted a set of stainless JL pipes to my RZV and would say they are well worth the cost for the increase in performance (and sound).

Hi savethe2strokes,
I think your best option would be Ebay or put an add in the wanted section on this Forum and someone near to you may be able to help you out.

If you are after good economy the 500 isn't for you!!
Although I get about 220-240 Kms from a tank on a trip if I just cruise along 120-140Km/hr.
The 500 feels lighter to ride than the 350 and is lower also.

The 350 and the 500 are two totally different bikes to ride. It's a little hard to explain but the 350 will feel like a Harley to ride after a few miles on an RZ500 or RZV500. If you can I would try to get a ride on a 500 to see what you think. (this may be difficult because of the numbers that are ...

The red light comes on at 80Kph and is controlled by a magnetic switch in the speedo if you unplug the connector that runs off just above the cable (speedo cable) it will stop the red light coming on!!! Happy RZV!!

No sorry aaron the holes aren't up thru the tube but thru the sides. There is a bit of science involved and unless you know the specific height up the tube and have a accurate precision drill I wouldn't try to modify jetting. A small wobble in the drill can make a huge difference to holes and can't ...

No they are talking about the emulsion tubes that run up the center of the carb. The main jet fits into the bottom of these and the neddle sits inside them.
